Chris has traveled the northeast extensively, photographing mountains, foliage, waterfalls, wildlife, and culture. He developed an appreciation of the natural world by spending summers on Lake Champlain with his family. He has also worked in the Everglades, Florida Keys, Grand Canyon, and Sedona. “I love to travel, but my heart will always be in Vermont. I take great pride in the beauty of our state”.
Chris is well known for his work on Vermont waterfalls. “The distinct sounds and sights of the falling water have always captivated me.” His web site, www.vtfalls.com, documents the state’s falls through photography and descriptive essays. He has been featured on Vermont’s WCAX, and is currently publishing a book on Vermont waterfalls.
Chris lives in St. Albans with his girlfriend and two Boston Terriers. He teaches science and coaches golf at Bellows Free Academy; where he graduated from before going on to earn his Masters in Education. He enjoys hiking, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. “I find relaxation and inspiration in nature, and hope to pass this on to others through my photography.”
