Beth grew up in Rutland and moved to Bakersfield for high school at Brigham Academy. She has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a Master’s degree in education from Johnson State College.
She was an elementary teacher in the Bakersfield School for 32 years.
Now retired, she finally has time to be an artist. She is a member of the Bishop Street Artists and belongs to the St. Albans Artists’ Guild.
“The Bishop Street Artists meet every week to share our creations and to learn from each other.”
Beth has no one favorite media. She likes pastel, watercolor, watercolor pencils, colored pencils, acrylics, collage and any other art medium she can find.
“So much great stuff – so little time! And what a thrill when something you’ve worked on comes out the way you hoped it would.”
