Lynne Berard

Lynne Berard was born in Barton, Vt. in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom. She spent her formative years enjoying the wonders of nature and riding her horse. As a child she knew that being an artist was her calling. Throughout her life, she explored different mediums to express her vision and foudn that watercolors were her favorite. She has a style that is unique and distinctive using techniques that she has developed on her own, breaking all the “rules” of watercolor.

Lynne now lives and paints in her small log cabin located on the farmland she grew up on. Her watercolors are her vision of the endless beauty and inspiration found in nature. She shares her vision with others in the hopes of brightening even the smallest portion of their lives.

Lynne exhibits her paintings in various galleries and other venues in Vermont. She also sells her limited edition prints and notecards in shops and at arts and crafts shows. She is a member of the Vermont Handcrafters Guild and the Wooden Horse Arts Guild.
